Exam Information

Exam style — CEM Select

Exam types:

  • CEM Select (verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning and numerical reasoning)

Exam lengths — Unknown.

Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the exam. On completion of the exams, the candidates will receive an age-adjusted or standardized score.

Other exam information:

  • The CEM Select is an online assessment that assesses skills on verbal, non-verbal and numerical reasoning.

  • Confidential reports and references from the candidate’s current school head will be required to see the candidate’s overall performance and potential over the years.

  • A non-refundable registration fee of £90 is required by the school.

  • The entrance exams take place in the January of year 6.

  • The deadline for registration for the entrance examinations is the beginning of December in year 6.

  • An interview may be conducted by a senior member of staff after the entrance assessment.
